WIC’s JB RUGBY TEAM WIN 2 OUT OF 3 GAMES IN EASTERN TOWNSHIP TOURNAMENT

WIC’s Juvenile Boy’s Rugby 7’s team, coached by Mme Simard, Chris Micheletti and Mr. Reid were invited to participate in the first high school rugby tournament of the season last Sunday (April 29th) at Richmond Regional High School in Richmond Quebec .   It was a chilly early start and the boys had to be warmed up and on the turf for their first game at 11:00.  This was a first experience for some of our team members who had never played rugby before, but veteran Eddie Cross set a great example, scoring eight tries!  We won two out of three games, returning to the West Island in time for dinner.
Great start guys!
